Leicester has a history dating back over 2000 years, ranging from a mention in the doomsday book, the roman ruins and roads to the infamous Battle of Bosworth which was the place and the final battle between two rulers King Richard the third and Henry Tudor naming the it the war of the roses. Leicester was also a big region for hosiery and shoemakers. Ley lines reportedly to run through the leicester and leicestershire region encouraging paranormal activity in the area.
